It is easy to get to Znojmo by car from Prague (200 km), Brno (80 km), Bratislava (100 km) as well as Vienna. Bus station – 10 km, Railway station – 5 km.

Penzion U Hrádku – Neighbourhood

Podyji is one of the most charming areas in Southern Moravia. The meanders of the river Dyje belong among the most awesome scenes. In the surrounding, there are many beautiful manors (Hardegg 6 km, Znojmo 10 km, Bitov 20 km), castles (Vranov nad Dyji 10 km, Jaromerice nad Rokytnou 35 km, Riegersburg 20 km, Uhercice 30 km, Jevisovice 30 km) and ruins (Novy Hradek 3 km, Fernstejn 20 km, Cornstejn 15 km). The U Hradku Pension lies at the Greenways cycle track Prague – Vienna. In the immediate vicinity of the pension, you can follow any of many other hiking, cycle or wine tracks. It is possible to borrow bikes in the pension. Ideal conditions for swimming and fishing can be found in the so called „Moravian Baltic“ that is made by the Vranovska, Vyrovicka and Jevisovicka reservoirs. A new generously designed lido was opened in Znojmo in 2004. In Austria, it is certainly worth to visit the Safaripark in Gänserndorf, a castle in Riegersburg (one of the most beautiful castles in Austria), historic town of Retz, thermal spa town Laa an der Thaya and, of course, Vienna, the Austrian capital.

Penzion U Hrádku – Rooms

The U Hradku Pension offers comfortable hotel rooms within enclosed and guarded grounds. The windows of above standard furnished rooms face the Podyji National Park and the trimmed hotel garden. The rooms are equipped with a double bed, bathroom, hair dryer, safe-deposit box, well-stocked minibar and a television with digital reception. A room service is provided daily. It is possible to borrow a child bed with duvet, pillow and bedlinen as well as a microwave oven, a small bath or a DVD player.

Penzion U Hrádku – Gastronomy

After a long trip or a tiring workday, you can finish your day in a pension restaurant enjoying a delicious food. During summer, you can rest on a terrace from which there is a marvellous view of the landscape. The wine list offers the best wines produced by the best Moravian winemakers. It is possible to participate in a wine tasting supervised by a professional wine-grower. There is a sufficient number of high chairs for children in the restaurant.
